Rat Race Paragliding Competition

Rat Race Competition Dates:
June 13 - June 19th, 2010

Practice day on June 12th.

Trophies awarded in the following classes:

3 Places Open Class
3 Places Serial Class (DHV 2 or lower)
3 Places Master Class (Over 49 yrs.of age)
3 Place Women
1 Regional Champion

Welcome to the eighth year of the annual Rat Race Paragliding Competition held in beautiful Southern Oregon. Rat Race 2010 will be held in the month of June and we expect to have great weather. It is a seven day event with an emphasis on education and training in GPS use and competition strategies. The race format is Cross Country/Race to Goal.

Rat Race 2010 will host a great mentoring program. The mentoring format will include evening lectures in competition strategies, GPS Use, along with guest speakers. Pilots desiring to enter the competition scene or improve their flying skills, this is the competition designed for you. The Mentoring program organized by Jeff Farrell and Will Gadd, along with the collaboration of experienced pilots, will be be worth the entry fee. Hello,

This year the Rat Race will feature a new twist.

We will be having teams at the Rat Race and we believe it will enhance everyone's experience. In addition, some of the top pilots are expected to compete on lower performing wings this year. Brad Gunnuncio for one, said he would be flying a DHV-2.
